Photos by Russell Lee
[edit]I added mention of the Russell Lee photos of 1940. Usually a FSA photographer passing through town wouldn't be notable, but Lee doccumented the small town unusually extensively and a fair number of the photos are among Lee's best. LOC FSA search [1] shows 619 photos he took in this small town, and a spot check of intermediate rolls suggests there are at least a couple dozen more availible via the LOC website. Lee's Pie Town photos are also discussed in the Smithsonian article. -- Infrogmation (talk) 13:04, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Gila National Forest, the Plains of San Augustin, etc.
[edit]There was not one mention of the Gila National Forest, which is quite close to Pie Town (to the south), or of the Plains of San Augustin, the location of the Very Large Array, to the east.98.81.2.31 (talk) 19:44, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
