The contents of the Picture clause page were merged into COBOL on 8 August 2014 and it now redirects there. For the contribution history and old versions of the merged article please see its history.
I'm not sure the merge was correct, or at least it might profitably be a language-independent article. I know at least PL/I-derived languages have PICTUREd data, are there others? It might be worth mentioning hardware support for pictures from, e.g. IBM, Burroughs, Honeywell, etc. Peter Flass (talk) 12:28, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
