First ascent

Is there a source for the first ascent 1911 by Alfredo Jahn? According to Braund and Bezada, it was A. E. Gunther who first climbed Pico Bonpland, in 1940, see Braun, Carsten; Bezada, Maximiliano (January 2013). "The History and Disappearance of Glaciers in Venezuela".
