Good article, but the external link (www.comics.com) appears to be inactive. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.98.32.3 (talk) 11:23, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rainwater?

[edit]

The article says that Earl and Opal Pickles' grandson is named Nelson Wolfe, and Nelson's parents are Earl and Opal's daughter Sylvia and her husband Dan. The article then says, "Their last name is Rainwater." Whose last name is Rainwater? If Nelson's surname is Wolfe, then presumably his father's surname would be Wolfe, too. If there is some other situation with the family names that I'm not catching on to, it's not explained here. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 04:06, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Surprisingly, their last name is Pickles. The author revealed the background in an interview with his college alumni magazine. http://magazine.byu.edu/?act=view&a=2833 pew pew pew (talk) 03:23, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Nice article, but it doesn't explain the Wolfe/Raintree conundrum. - Dravecky (talk) 11:57, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't find anything about Pickles or Crane at that link. What am I missing? CsikosLo (talk) 14:07, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Confirming edit in case someone gets suspicious of it

This edit was indeed made by the creator of the comic, as shown by this post on the comic's Facebook page. Nairb2 (talk) 23:20, 27 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
