General observations
[edit]I'm not sure this article's subject matter would classify as an article about classical music, it being about a trade organization. If any music classification were attached to it, I would think it would be music in general rather than just the classical genre. In addition, since "registered piano technicians" are covered and cited in this article, I have suggested that the stub Registered Piano Technician be merged here. Thoughts? As a Registered Piano Technician (RPT) I feel that combining RPT with PTG is appropriate. I wonder if the loss of any associated links might be a problem?
The article does tend to have a "commercial feel" but the PTG is an important trade organization and the only well recognized one qualifying piano technicians. The test for RPT is rigorous and thorough. Brhebert (talk) 02:32, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
