Fixes and More Fixes

[edit]

This is a fairly weak article. I've done some to eliminate the fiction and occasional questionable grammar but it is still not a very good article. If someone felt like re-writing the entire thing they shouldn't hesitate.

So, what does this need? Research, research, research!

Musical examples! And it needs a lot more! Gingermint (talk) 02:51, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the statement "The string introduction followed by the chorale on piano may be said to mimic the third movement of Beethoven's String Quartet in A minor.[original research?": Here is a quotation/citation from the liner notes to "Bartok - The 3 Piano Concertos, Stephen Biship Kovacevich, BBC Symphony Orchestra - London Symphony Orchestra, Sir Colin Davis (dir.), 1990, Philips Records": "This movement also contains a reference to the 'Heiliger Dankgesang' from Beethoven's String Quartet Op. 132." 76.195.68.223 (talk) 22:56, 14 July 2012 (UTC)j. brickner[reply]

Bird calls

[edit]

A documentary film about Bartók mentions a birdsong used in the score. 99.237.143.219 (talk) 04:46, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
