this article needs to be expanded. it should explain the reason and the necessary conditions for back bonding between two atoms. example:small and comparable size, various consequences of that like variation in acidic and basic character down the group and across a period. , make comparisons of order of stability of various compounds etc. (Vishakha sharma (talk) 07:59, 6 February 2009 (UTC))vishakha sharma[reply]
