Currently

Currently the article says, unsourced, "Most Phyllodes tumors are benign neoplasms, thus the term sarcoma is best avoided." I don't believe this is quite accurate. Yes, the benign ones are obviously not "sarcomas." But the borderline and malignant ones definitely ARE sarcomas, as indicated by their name (cystosarcoma phylloides) and references like the first one on Google. If you read PT message boards (which I realize is original research!) you'll find that many of the doctors of those with PTs are sarcoma specialists.--Injoy 21:41, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

epidemiology

The article states that this is a disease most frequently observed in the 40s and 50s. I have just read somewhere else it is more commonly seen in the late 20s. I think the epidemiological data should be referenced or verified.

Hey, great job on editing and adding substantial sections to this article! I copied the template for reviewing and checklist in bold with my responses:

Make sure it's understandable to the intended WP audience.

--I think readability is good here and the only suggestions I would make is under Signs and Symptoms to define the word "necrosis" in simpler terms or link to the wiki article on it.

--There is also a sentence in this section that starts, "There growth can be slow..." (I would change "There" to "Their")

--Under 'Mechanism' the sentence that starts, "In the Wnt pathway, gene transcription B-catenin is a highly-regulated process..." there seems to be a grammar issue.

--For this paragraph, there seems to be a period in between the sentences when there should be a comma or simply a different word to start the second sentence: "Genes that have been associated with an higher incidence of phyllodes tumors include Mediator Complex Subunit 12 (MED12) exon 2, Telomerase Reverse Transcriptase (TERT) promoter, and Retinoic Acid Receptor Alpha (RARA).[10] Genes which play an important role in regulating DNA synthesis.[10]"

Minor changes and good job overall.

Make sure we include appropriate sources, mostly NOT primary literature.  But OK to use primary literature when there is no secondary literature. Also OK to use closed-access resources.

I like that the most up to date source you used were in the appropriate sections such as Diagnosis and Prognosis. I was curious to know if there are more up to date sources that can be found for the first 2 statements in Prevention and Screening since references 20 and 21 are from the early 2000s.

Look at the workplan and compare/contrast to actual work done.

Great job sticking to your work plan and adding most of the sections that make up the article now. The pictures you added were relevant and help illustrate your points to the reader.

Sections follows manual of style for the most part. 'Classification' is under 'Diagnosis' but this seems appropiate given the nature of the topic.

Follow readability guidelines (no sentences longer than 26 words). Lots of periods, few commas or semicolons.

Overall, good job here especially given how dense the language around this topic can be.
