No longer Deputy President

[edit]

I do believe Ngcuka has resigned as Deputy President. GoodDay (talk) 19:53, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone update the article to reflect this, also her now joining COPE ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.210.167.156 (talk) 12:46, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Her name didn't get cleared in the oilgate scandal

[edit]

Concerning the oilgate scandal, the then public protector Lawrence Mushwana produced what the Mail & Guardian called a "whitewashing" report. Mr Mushwana was heavily criticised in the South African press for what many political commentators viewed as his lack of willingness to investigate anything that might end up highlighting deeds of corruption by his fellow ANC members.
