Phoenix Roadrunners (ECHL) → Phoenix RoadRunners (ECHL) – This version of the team styled itself as RoadRunners (note the capital R of Runners), as can be seen at their (archived) website (https://web.archive.org/web/20070520231538/http://www.phxroadrunners.com/) and as was reflected by this article until recently. Other, unconnected teams that used this name previously all used "Roadrunners", as can be seen as the disamb page Phoenix_Roadrunners 194.28.124.55 (talk) 00:46, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose per O.N.R. and WP:COMMONNAME. While RoadRunners was definitely the WP:OFFICIALNAME, my source searching from the time period during and after the team's existence seems to say it was only used independently about 1 in 10 articles. Even the Suns, who shared the same ownership at the time, didn't use the camel case in its own press releases. Yosemiter (talk) 17:34, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment As per WP:OFFICIALNAME should there be a redirect then, and should the name within the article be "RoadRunners" or "Roadrunners"? If a redirect is acceptable I will withdraw the requested move. 194.28.124.55 (talk) 02:01, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  - I don't think anyone would have strong objections, but Phoenix RoadRunners currently redirects here, and if it stays that way then Phoenix RoadRunners (ECHL) doesn't really define subject more specifically per WP:RPURPOSE. However, if Phoenix RoadRunners eventually points to the DAB page instead (as a generic search term), then Phoenix RoadRunners (ECHL) becomes the most specific. It probably won't need to be used either way as the link would need to be piped anyways to make any sentence read properly. Yosemiter (talk) 03:28, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
