criticism

[edit]

If this is supposed to be a philosophy entry, it's going to have to have some actual critical discussion, lest it just appear to be an appeal to the authority of the general idea of philosophy. At the very least it should include the critical views of Raphael Waters, Sidney Cohen (who both supported, initially, therapeutic use, but decided that LSD was too risky to be permitted for recreational use), and R.C.Zaehner . This paper by Lia Harel (linked)is a good summation of the core epistemology issues. I also suggest that it's a serious stretch to refer to the likes of John Lilly as a 'philosopher.'
