Couldn't help noticing

The cited link appears to be a porn site.

Thanks for the tip-off anonymous. I have removed the link, plus all the OR. You're free to do this yourself of course. Cheers. Alastair Haines (talk) 16:54, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Connotation

[edit]

"In addition, the other two connotations in terms of men are as follows: since the word "man" or, in Greek, "anér-andros" has its form as "andr-ia" in its word combination, Philandry is fondness towards men, whereas Misandry is the hatred of men." Is that a proper use of the word "connotation?"--Mrcolj (talk) 22:57, 12 February 2010 (UTC) <---PS I used to have Philogynist on my business card, as a freshman in college, 1993[reply]

Merge tag

[edit]

This has been tagged with a merge to androphilia and gynephilia. Part of the problem is that philia in this case is the better-known usage of fondness (Philadelphia, bibliophile), rather than sexual attraction (philanderer, pedophile). This should not be merged, but should link to Gynephilia in the see also section. Comments welcome. I'll remove the merge proposal if there's no discussion in the next 7 days.
