German version

[edit]

The supposed German version of the Bennett article seems not to be such. The German version seems to have disappeared now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.162.114.158 (talk) 12:42, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, and it is a shame. But the BAWAG-cause is still open for austrian justice and some austrian people are involved in, they needed to be protected. (de:zabia) 01:11, 17 July 2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.10.202.13 (talk)

Scandal is missing

[edit]

I don't understand why this article is missing the major scandal that Bennett was involved in. This is a man who hid $430 million in bad debts, and helped bankrupt one of the most respected financial brokers in history. This should be a major addition to this article. Persianlor

Word "ordered"

[edit]

The article says that prosecutors ordered Bennett to hand over the money. Only the District Judge would normally make such an order. Prosecutors seem to have applied for such. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.150.99.135 (talk) 14:41, 20 February 2008 (UTC) Now, Judge Buchwald seems to have actually made such an order. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.13.152.100 (talk) 14:46, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

16

[edit]

It is not clear if the 16 years is a maximum or minimum sentence. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.139.211.191 (talk) 11:03, 22 July 2008 (UTC) It seems to be the maximum, before possible parole. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.139.211.191 (talk) 10:12, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
