Spelling of first name (Phillip)
[edit]On parliament.co.uk [1], it is spelt 'Philip' (with one 'L'), whereas here it has two 'L's. Which is correct?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Magic Lemur (talk • contribs) 15:25, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
- It's 2 Ls; Lee's official records show his name is spelled "Phillip", as do most of the sources cited. Parliament.co.uk has it wrong. 217.44.170.41 (talk) 01:28, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

- Support Traffic indicates people are more often looking for the politician article, so it appears to be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. (That's not always a certain thing, since there can be brief spikes in popularity of a topic. But a political election that was over eight years ago is probably not such a spike.) — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 15:38, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. Political figure with with no international renown. Not WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 00:46, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
- User:Roman Spinner, I kindly request you review the meaning of a primary topic. A page must not reach some arbitrary threshold of renown to be the primary. It's about relativity to other pages with the same name. --Yaksar (let's chat) 22:04, 26 May 2018 (UTC)
- User:Yaksar, I appreciate your kind request for review and I am familiar with WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, although if you would care to provide a link to a specific section or to quote a specific passage, I would gladly discuss the details. In general terms, since all human name dabs contain individuals who are, to one degree or another, more notable than other same-named individuals, all {hndis} lists would feature a primary topic if relativity to other pages with the same name were to be the sole consideration. The large majority of such pages, however, do not have a primary topic. Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 18:37, 27 May 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose and merge the DAB with Philip Lee. The small variation of spelling would not be known to many searching. Reader experience is the bottom line. Andrewa (talk) 16:08, 2 June 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose and merge the DAB with Philip Lee. The small variation of spelling would not be known to many searching. This could be said of any Philip/Phillip dabs In ictu oculi (talk) 06:45, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
