Please observe WP:CRYSTAL until the installation

[edit]

He's 62 now, please change the age.

Per WP:CRYSTAL, I have restored this article to reflect the reality of things, which is the fact that this man is still Bishop of Paisley until his installation ceremony on 8 September. He is Archbishop-designate and the see of Paisley is not vacant, he is its Apostolic Administrator. Once he is enthroned in the installation ceremony, then his reign in Glasgow begins and the infoboxes can be updated to that effect. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 21:01, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Comments on David Cairns MP

[edit]

Particularly in light of his designate status, surely the recent controversy around his comments on the death of David Cairns should be featured? They don't particularly fit under the heading 'Episcopate', and are what he is mainly known for in public, so I think a sub-heading is appropriate. Feel free to let me know if you disagree. Fair enough giving it its own heading. We cannot use the Daily Mail for anything controversial though. --John (talk) 22:19, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That seems entirely sensible...but then in the Daily Mail, everything is controversial...Marty jar (talk) 19:38, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
