[edit]Looks like the title of the article is spelled wrong. Philip (correct) vs. Phillip. Will have to work on a rename. Beanbatch 23:30, 14 September 2005 (UTC)
Are we sure that he received this medal? It is, as far as I know, only [used] give to U.K. and Commonwealth members [According to his article he is from New Jersey]. His name is also not on the list as having received one. I'll take it out within one week if someone does not source this or remove it. ScarianTalk 20:21, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Unnecessary hearsay.
[edit]Ron Streczyk told McManus that "After D-Day, during the Normandy fighting, one of Tech Sergeant Streczyk's men was severely wounded in a firefight. The stricken soldier's jaw was gone and he begged for death. The sergeant obliged and put him out of his misery. Later he felt guilty about it." 67.86.50.8 (talk) 15:27, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
