How does marketing and finance go hand in hand .According to marketing the money should be spend but according to finance money should be overlooked wheather it is beneficial . Where does they have to draw line ?

Kotler's ideas?

So, what ideas are Mr. Kotler known for? I came across this page on a link from Megamarketing, a term he apparently coined. He's apparently brilliant enough to have had a nine-volume collection of his essays published, what do they say?
