Window lead
[edit]somewhere in the references i found (and lost) mention of orders being given to collect lead from the windows throughout the Albany area. Women were bringing the tea-services and what have you to Philip's home (where on his property was the military store) to melt down into musket balls. The lead from Philips own windows was reportedly collected as most leaded windows would be in the homes of the wealthy.....JGVR (talk) 01:04, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
