Philip Carteret FRS → Philip Carteret (fellow) – Since postnominal letters aren't included in the article title. 2601:249:9301:D570:51FD:12B3:C3A4:EF5A (talk) 17:23, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
- Move to Philip Carteret (courtier), since he was Gentleman of the King's Chamber. Fellow is not an occupation, but an honour held by many significant men of the day (and also, of course, just means "man"!). He does also appear to have been a Royal Navy officer, so Philip Carteret (Royal Navy officer, born 1641) would also be okay. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:41, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
- Move to Philip Carteret (courtier) per Necrothesp. Oppose the Royal Navy DAB as insufficiently WP:CONCISE. ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 13:50, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
