SargJohnLennon (talk) 17:36, 6 June 2008 (UTC)SargJohnLennon Why does he cite his own site as a source? This guy is full of BS
I agree he is full of BS
[edit]Definitely, this guy's credibility is shot anyhow. No one who has any sense takes his books seriously. He just writes what he is told and hardly does any research outside of what he is spoonfed by the pathological liars like Richard Kuklinski and Anthony Casso who he choses to write about and make money off of. He's a hack author. I do not know one reseacher of the subject of organized crime who doesn't think this guy is full of crap. He's a joke. Only gullible idiots can believe that a man from New Jersey would take victims to a cave and videotape them being eaten by man-eating rats. It's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of and there's not a lick of truth to it. But that doesn't matter to Phil Carlo. If he's told something, he writes it, even when he, himself, knows it's BS. He's only in it to make money and that is the bottomline. Ignore this guy. Do not buy his books unless you like to read fiction passed off as nonfiction. I have also decided to boycott St. Martin's Press. If they keep publishing this guy after they know he's a author who passes fiction off as nonfiction, then they also lose all credibility and are not to be taken seriously. No telling what other authors they let print whatever in the world they want and not fact-check a single thing. Thumbs down to both Phil Carlo and St. Martin's Press. Shame on the both of you!
