I found this [1]. It says much the same of what was said in the Olympedia source, but in a different order. Neither of them bother giving start of end dates for when he was in the US military. He is said to have been on 8 national championship fencing teams, but how covered is fencing.John Pack Lambert (talk) 18:31, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Well google books leads me to a 1909 Army and Navy gazette article which tells me This Allison (or another at Cornell at the same time) visited Governors Island with 2 of his friends who were cadets at the US Military Academy (that is West Point). It does not say what they did on their visit. I am over 90% sure that is the same guy, but it is a passing mention not worth putting in an encyclopedia.John Pack Lambert (talk) 18:36, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Cornell Magazine Vol 97-98, p. 20, talks about a fencing team trophy won by a team that Allison was on, name dropping that he was on the team. The google books link does not seem to go to the full text, so it is hard to say what is said in full.John Pack Lambert (talk) 18:39, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
