I think that Phil Younghusband actually played 16 caps (including the draw of the Philippines against Myanmar yesterday) and not 15 as stated in the article. After some searching I came up with the following list of games (I believe) he played for the Philippines national team:

The games where he did score one or more goals were easy to verify. Sources for the games in 2010 where he did not score are also plenty. The games in 2008 can be verified on the website of the AFC. The only games I could not get a reliable source about him being part of the Philippines squad are the games against Laos and Cambodia on november 12th and november 18th 2006 which where played in Bacolod. (I did find some indications however on footbal forum that he did play against Laos and some statements that he scored six goals in four qualifying matches) Hope somebody can help. That is incorrect. He did not play against Macau in the 2010 Long Teng Cup due to injury. Why don't you go to they Google Archive and look up the Philippine Daily Inquirer for November 2006 for the reports on the four games in Bacolod. He's mentioned as playing in all of them. On the same time national-football-teams.com already has the data for three of the matches from November 2006. Phil Younghusband's caps are accounted for there except for the game against Cambodia. You are right. Thanks for the quick help. I must have read the name of his brother James in this Chinese report and thought it was him in the game against Macau. I did search on the website of The Inquirer for the games in 2006, but could only find a preview for the game against Laos. Apparantly I should have used google archive. Thanks again.
