[edit]According to Cricinfo, Tufnell scored 153 runs in Test Cricket, not 453. This is more in line with his Test Average. I have amended this detail. Rrsmac 12:05, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
Annoying
[edit]Surely Tufnell's highly irritating "cheeky chappie" persona should have been made mention of, and that bizarre laugh of his. I doubt it is just Ricky Ponting and the Australian cricket team who find this man intensely annoying. Guv2006 19:57, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
-Or maybe Ricky Ponting should develop a sense of humour. The guy is a class batsman but far from a class person. The English have had it stuck down our throats for years by the Aussies so don't get all righteous on us now because you're getting some back. UncleTheOne
Tufnell was charged by the police with assault on a girlfriend.[ http://www.thesportshq.com/articles/Cricket-equipment%5CFamous-players%5CCricket-equipment-Famous-Players-Phil-Tufnell.html] His first wife left him and became a prostitute. Why is there no mention of the fact he beat up a girlfriend. Why? What is cheeky about that.
Personal life controversy
[edit]I have removed a chunk of uncited material because it's potentially libellous. It was about allegations of assault in 1994. If someone can cite it feel free to add it back in. The version that contained it was http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Phil_Tufnell&oldid=374813713. Tomcrocker (talk) 14:25, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
