For example, from his website, writing to Mark Latham ~~on his comments on Phil Cleary~~: "Correct weight. If only I'd been there to second those eloquent comments about George Bush. Christ, next we might find you recommending a bit of Marxist analysis on the war, ie, an oil well dressed up a Christian virgin about to be set upon by some Arab. I'm so moved I'm almost prepared to say all is forgiven."
Also from his website: "Alistair Hulett, a moving and thoughtful voice from the left... There's nothing like an evening with Andy Irvine and Donal Lunny to fire the soul. Andy's Tom Barker IWW song with it's damning refrain about the little digger, First World War Australian Prime Minister Billy Hughes, continues to bring a tear to my eye. And when the maestro, Donal Lunny, is there overseeing the production it's a special occasion....
