FIRST INTERNATIONAL FRAT

I belive this link proves that phi iota, is the first International Fraternity http://www-tech.mit.edu/archives/VOL_051/TECH_V051_S0328_P001.pdf Eljohnson15 04:58, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

That may be true, but it's a difficult thing to prove. 1) You have to eliminate the possibility that every other american college fraternity did not have a chapter outside the borders of the United States. Including Canada. 2) There are other organizations that call themselves fraternities (though not in the college fraternity sense) that were international prior to this date. 3) Phi Iota Alpha has never made that claim. 2much 14:05, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

GA on hold

  1. I don't think there are enough for a quick fail, but there are instances where citations are not given, but needed.
  2. There are several pictures which are copyrighted. See Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline as Miranda has described above. Some of the images in the article already have a FUR. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ccson (talkcontribs)

On hold until the 25th. miranda 10:04, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Due to a combination of the submitter not working to improve this article during the nearly one month hold, as well as lack to address the issues that I have proposed for improvement, this article is not promoted to GA status. miranda 00:06, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
