An incredible circle of theft
[edit]The original article here was stolen entirely from "http://www.ancientlibrary.com/wcd/Phemonoe" Wiki Classical Dictionary, format and sources included with no real effort made to make it a good wiki article. That article stole the information from "http://www.ancientlibrary.com/smith-bio/2589.html" The Ancient Library. That article is just a photocopy of "Smith's Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology" page 256. -----Adimovk5 (talk) 04:16, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
I can't make sense of the third sentence. It has no verb. Seadowns (talk) 10:00, 5 June 2018 (UTC)

Source clarification wanted
[edit]Greetings, all. The article's text states the following: 'In some studies, the phrase "know thyself" (γνῶθι σεαυτόν), found inscribed at the entrance to the Temple of Apollo at Delphi, has been attributed to [Phenomoe].' For this claim, a source is referenced whose total text reads "Atil. Fort. p. 2690, Putsch." Nothing more. This alleged source does not correspond to any other source in the article. Unless a contributor can throw light on this, both claim and reference should be deleted. -The Gnome (talk) 08:16, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
