Its cool when the genus is a visual epithet! ;) How about we just mention why Richard's genus has that name in taxonomy, for the cluelessly intrigued? heh Rcej (Robert) - talk 05:05, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
- It took a while for me to catch on to the wordplay there... lol. When I find a source that says explicitly what the genus name means, I will direct it instead to the genus article. Otherwise I'd lack justification for not inserting the same fact in the other 27 Phallus species' articles. Instead, I'll leave you with some century-old British humour: ""Phallus" is a genus of fungi, which does service here in indicating that there is no fallac-y as to the quality of the wine consumed." - heh... good enough! Pass! Rcej (Robert) - talk 03:51, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
