Needs more information

[edit]

There should be more information than a brief intro, then launching into quoting a whole spoof soap opera in the article.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.173.8.12 (talkcontribs)

Hokkien

[edit]

However, the General is actually speaking a dialect of Chinese, Hokkien, which, oddly enough, corresponds exactly with the subtitles.

Can we get a citation on this? I find it hard to believe, but if it is true than it's really quite interesting.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Paul079 (talkcontribs)

The woman was actually speaking Vietnamese starting from when the general left the scene. It also matches the subtitle. DHN 05:03, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Article is about the book

[edit]

Article opener changed as this article is about the book and not just the country. The fictional country is within the book. The article goes beyond the fictional country describing items of the travel guide unrelated to the country (adverts for other travel guides). Format (talk) 23:43, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dutch

[edit]

Now, a Dutch Phaic Than page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.170.122.88 (talk) 17:11, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

King's name

[edit]

In the section "About Phaic Tăn", the following appears: "The current king is Sukhimbol Tralanhng III, ninth king of the Angit dynasty. King Falanhng prides himself ...". Somehow, we have allowed an inconsistency in the king's name. Perhaps someone with access to the book can correct this? Wdchk (talk) 23:08, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
