Naming
[edit]Aircraft names from small manufacturers was often vague in the 1920s. French journals of the time, the best reporters, refer to it as "l'hydravion Peyret" or "l'hydravion Peyret-Le Prieur" etc but there is no name or number; "l'hydravion" is not a name but a description of its type. Hence the choice of Peyret-Le Prieur seaplane, a direct translation into English. In the very early days Blériot used the description "hydroplane" for his floatplanes but no one else did.TSRL (talk) 21:48, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
