What is Petrobras doing in sustainability engineering?

I would like the major fossil fuel company articles to indicate how they intend to transition to carbon-neutral fuels such as this work and "power to gas." I need to know whether they support emerging chemical engineering research such as catalysts for carbon-neutral transportation fuels, whether they are working on compressed air energy storage such as [1] and [2], airborne wind turbines such as [3], and on extracting carbon from seawater such as this PARC method in order to solve their long-term corporate viability issues. I do not believe it is possible to have a truly balanced article on a fossil fuel company without some indication of their long term prospects. Tim AFS (talk) 04:23, 13 December 2013 (UTC)

I also need to know whether they are developing electrical grid energy storage in their existing expended oil and gas caverns along with mineshafts and mines for pumped-storage hydroelectricity where ordinary hydroelectric power is unavailable. Tim AFS (talk) 09:11, 18 December 2013 (UTC)

Scandal/Corruption

i'm surprised there is nothing here about the ongoing investigation. i came here because i wanted to know when the investigation was started, and none of the articles i was reading mentioned that. i've since found a recent article (out a week ago) that says the investigation started a year ago. given that it's been a year, it seems odd that there is NOTHING here about it. it actually makes me wonder if this is merely a "promotional" page that some companies try to put up/keep on wikipedia.

however, under "Reputation," there is a sentence (before the table) that...sort of discusses the issue. however, so much has been crammed into one short sentence that it makes no sense. combined with the grammatical errors, i question it's addition. i tried to look at the history and see when it was added, and by whom, but i'm not experienced with using the history page and can't quite figure out the answer. it looks like there have been additions and subtractions repeatedly over the past month or so.

Dilma fired all the directors involved in the corruption scheme back in 2012 http://oglobo.globo.com/economia/partidos-se-irritam-com-mudancas-feitas-por-graca-na-petrobras-4749680. The directors were linked to the PP, and indirectly to the PSDB, and received much more campaign funds than the President's party. I think the article is extremely biased, as it does not "follow the money", and is much more political than factual.

Clash with indigenous tribes

There seems to be no information related to exploration and exploitation in areas inhabited by indigenous tribes, but I remember reading some related news. It might need a little research but it'd be interesting to have. 76.10.128.192 (talk) 07:23, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
