Overlinking
[edit]What you are doing is called WP:LINKCRISIS, please avoid to do that. There is a reason no other president on Wikipedia uses that, and that is to avoid overlinking. Try to add it on Joe Biden or Donald Trump and see what happens. It is completely unneccessary as its the date of assuming office and not the election. BastianMAT (talk) 07:59, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
- @BastianMAT I dont agree with your assertion that adding the Elecion page link to the date of election in infobox is overlinking. No comments on JB or DT. Since you feel too strongly about it, I will leave it at that. Venkat TL (talk) 08:04, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
Association agreement
[edit]From the first paragraph: "He began the process of integration with the European Union by signing the European Union–Ukraine Association Agreement, which never occurred. "
I find this quite confusing. What does "which" refer to here? The process? But that has begun according to the first clause. The signing? That also happened according to the first clause. The association per se? That has also "occurred".

I've edited it out. See my reasons in Edit page.

Heritage
[edit]Is Poroshenko of partly Jewish heritage? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 23:44, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
- No, that's a rumor fabricated by pro-russia trolls. 2A02:3030:81C:FEBA:1:0:2BD8:38A6 (talk) 19:58, 25 May 2023 (UTC)

former president Poroshenko Minsk agreements “meant nothing”
[edit]added this:
In June 2022 on Espreso TV Poroshenko said the Minsk agreements “meant nothing” and claimed credit for giving Kiev enough time to militarize. He cited Sun Tzu’s stratagem, who, according to Poroshenko, emphasized the art of avoiding war.<ref>[https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/en/country-files/ukraine/news/article/ukraine-q-a-17-jun-2022 France Diplomacy Ukraine - Q&A (17 Jun. 2022)]. None of those sources seem reliable -lets discuss before removing again. the Russian sources are reliable and the video that he said this is on youtube.
Happydaze1 (talk) 09:35, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
- Per WP:ONUS, disputed content stays out until consensus for its inclusion is reached. This text is undue: the French diplomacy website has only one sentence about it, Ruskline is a random "Orthodox news agency" of questionable notability, and Gazeta.Ru is owned by Sberbank, which in its turn is owned by the Russian state. Unless you can find other sources (preferably ones not censored by Russia), then we can talk. Kleinpecan (talk) 10:12, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
- The bottom line kleinpecan is that no matter what source the wikipedia community finds, it will never be good enough for you. Wikipedia:Ownership of content the president gave the speech, and this is a quote from what he said, no one disputes that this is said. I am not impressed with your use of acronyms which is common with long term editors. I added a NPOV tag. Do not remove it. Happydaze1 (talk) 22:39, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
- I have clearly described which sources I am willing to accept, so your accusations are wrong. Moreover, your repeated restoration of the disputed text is disruptive. Kleinpecan (talk) 06:08, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
