Some issues with the article
[edit]I've found a number of sources that I'd like to add here
- NRHP inventory doc (already listed)
- NHL Summary already listed
- June 21, 2008 Daily Gazette article on closing of site
- Skidmore College article on site
- Hudson River Valley article
- 7 ancient wonders of Capitol region
- Excellent article on Stromalites new and old
The problem that comes out of reading these is that they often seem to confuse Lester Park (a state park ~2 miles away) and the Petrified Sea Gardens. It appears the scientific research (by Hall and others) was done at Lester Park, but later work included the Petrified Sea Gardens. I'll try to rework the article accordingly, but wanted more people to think about this if possible. dm (talk) 22:56, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
