I dunno if this merits mention here...
[edit]There is a site that describes itself as a "wikipedia-killer".
It claims it has 1,000,000 original articles, contributed by 6,000 notable contributors. But, there are reports that the 6,000 contributors were unaware that they were being listed as contributors. If their works are available on the site, without their knowledge, that strongly implies (1) they are not original; (2) they have been plagarized.
