I'm not sure if this information should be included in the article about Peter, but his newsletter dated today noted the passing of his mother, with a link to http://www.conlanpress.com/html/rebecca_beagle.html --71.197.170.20 22:00, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Beagle interview

[edit]

In line with the policy stated somewhere or other on linking one's own articles, I'd like to point out the considerably lengthy interview that I had with Beagle and Cochran on The Biblio File. It contained much information and many insights into Beagle's life and his writings, and I imagine would provide grist for considerable updates to this or other articles. I just can't do it myself because of that policy. --Robotech_Master 03:30, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The First Last Unicorn and Other Beginnings, 2007 (story collection with additional essay material)

[edit]

Am I right in what I have heard about The First Last Unicorn and Other Beginnings... that it will be a full reprinting of The Last Unicorn: The Lost Version with additional material including Two Hearts and othe Unicorn related items? Or is this just a rumor? Antmusic 16:15, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yep. Listen to my interview (linked from the section above this entry) for details. --Robotech_Master 19:52, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why is there no discussion of the Cochran issues?

[edit]

here's a link: http://www.snopes.com/2017/04/28/peter-s-beagle-lawsuit/

Why is there no discussion of this? It's a big issue bringing people to the page and any attempt to actually document it, complete with appropriate references, is undone as "vandalism", presumably by agents of cochran's. Remind me to tag any facts I don't like as "vandalism." Wikipedia — the home of FakeNews™ 172.5.154.148 (talk) 15:45, 16 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It's ridiculous that the issue is not mentioned here.Tensegrity (talk) 21:26, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, this is disturbing. I looked at the logs, one person posted the info and included references to outside sources and not only was the info removed, but the poster was banned. What is up with that? MayCauseDrowsiness (talk) 01:26, 28 June 2017 (UTC)MayCauseDrowsinessMayCauseDrowsiness (talk) 01:26, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Seeking info on the Cochran issues. Why is this page misleading with the "Dispute with Granada media" section when he is now suing the person who benefited from that? Bibliography

[edit]

I have commenced a tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates for books and articles, as well as tables for organising short stories, poems and/or book reviews. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. ISBNs and other persistent identifiers, where available, are commented out, but still available for reference. This is a work in progress; feel free to continue.
