I am sorry I am new to Wikipedia so I may not fully understand the criteria, but I believe that Mr. Nigrini would qualify for an entry. He has been nominated for a number of awards for his work and is a constant part of the New York Theater community. He is also one of the early practitioners of the field of projection design. Similar entries that would seem to suggest articles for similar individuals include:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derek_McLane
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenneth_Posner
All of whom are his colleagues.
Thanks for listening, and I appreciate any input on the process.
