[edit]I added an infobox with an image and a victims section, and deleted all unsourced info. --*momoricks* (talk) 13:08, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
- The places where Peter Moore ran cinemas needs an addition that has been left out of the final Wikipaedia article. You name several name places where Peter Moore owned as well as ran cinemas to enable him to commit his crimes? Please add another town, his final town where he was eventially was arrested for his crimes begore he could murder anybody else! This final town is Blaenau Ffestiniog, Gwynedd, North Wales. Peter Moore bought a cinema on Church Street but was as i have said arrested there before he had the chance to commit further crimes. I live there in that town and was selected to be on his jury at Crown Court! Please rectify the mistake please. 2.24.53.255 (talk) 16:58, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
Victims
[edit]Four - or five? Four listed, and in header. Perhaps amend the middle bit? Autochthony wrote 0030z 22 Dec 2009. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.73.148.164 (talk) 00:29, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- Moore said he was also guilty of the murder of Clocaenog forest man, however, his claims were apparently dismissed by the police due to him not telling them the correct date. Which in my opinion is a flimsy reason not to convict him, but all extant sources side with the police, and Wikipedia policy says we have to go with the reliable source's line. Just to clear up why there may be some confusing edits. Phil of rel (talk) 22:02, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
LGBT question
[edit]This is in the 'Violence against LGBT people in the United Kingdom' group, probably because most of his victims were gay. A few sources say Moore himself is gay, so I'd just like to know if it's still violence against LGBT people if the attacker is LGBT himself? Kohran (talk) 16:53, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
- It seems that wikipedia says we ought to do what the reliable sources do when these issues come up and say that yes it is violence against LGBT people even if the perp is LGBT.Phil of rel (talk) 15:14, 9 April 2022 (UTC)
Collin Norris in "see also" section
[edit]I have two concerns about including him in the see also section:
1) how do we know Norris was gay? I've never heard that he thought of himself as gay.
2) it might be interpreted as linking murder to homosexuality, as the see also section is supposed to be relevant to the contents of the article. Plus if we're just including people for their targets or sexuality, Dennis Nilsen and Jeffrey Dahmer should be included too. But that makes the scope of that section far far too broad.--Phil of rel (talk) 22:05, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
