"The Second Man"?

The article states that Peter Kerr was "the second black man to be ordained to the priesthood in" The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, if Elijah Abel is considered the first, it is difficult to see Kerr as the second if he died before Abel was ordained in 1836. TheOtter (talk) 17:35, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
