In accordance with Wikipedia guidelines, I am assuming good faith on the part of the author of this article; however, I can't help thinking that the tone of parts of this article is racist and offensive. It's possible that it may have been take wholesale from another source, in which case, the author should consider whether the entire passage is necessary, given its colonialist perspective and offensive epithets: if it is, then quotation marks must be added.
I am fairly inexperienced at Wikipedia editing, but I'm sure this offensive language is not acceptable to most readers. My first instinct was to delete large sections of the article, but I decided to raise the discussion first, in order to learn the best protocol to follow should I encounter similar issues in the future.
