He is notable because of the work he has done in relation to those organizations. This seems wholly appropriate. That someone's notability is mostly confined to a particular population does not constitute non-notability. Notability is typically imputed by coverage from other notable entities. Klein satisfies this criterion. DickClarkMises (talk) 16:05, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
But his notability has not been established by "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" as required by Wikipedia:Notability. Even assuming that Klein is independent of Mises, which is debatable, Mises is still just one source. So we'd need to find other reliable sources that have covered Klein's work. By analogy, the fact that a NYT reporter has been mentioned multiple times by the New York Times doesn't establish his notability because the NYT isn't independent of the reporter, and the NYT is only one source. If the reporter's work has been discussed in other reliable sourcs (say, Judith Miller), that would establish notability. Binarybits (talk) 16:22, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
According to this list, he has been cited in World Bank and Federal Reserve publications and various scholarly journals. Given that Klein opposes the existence of either the Federal Reserve or the World Bank, I think it is safe to say that those are sources independent of the article subject.
