A few tips
[edit]Hello @JeannetteCH: I was searching Wikipedia to see if this author had an article about him. He doesn't, but lo and behold I discovered that someone has already started a draft! That's great and I thank you for taking the time to put something together. I wanted to share a few pointers that I think might help your draft. Let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to help.
- I see your first reference is iMDB. Be careful on what you cite from that site. Some things are permissible, others not so much. You can find more guidance at Wikipedia:Citing_IMDb.
- If you are looking for more references (or want to know what are reliable sources) you might find Wikipedia:Reliable sources useful in your research. More references from reliable sources go a long way in making your article successful. I always find a good starting place is a Google News search on the subject. :)
- Since Mr. Clines is happily living among us you'll want to be familiar with the guidelines on biographies of living persons. We like to take great care in how we write about our fellow humans. Information about folks needs to be verifiable and neutral!
- Also, if you have a relationship with the subject, be sure to disclose that somewhere. Either on your own User talk page, or on the talk page for the article itself once you go to publish. It will save you some headaches when other editors come along to help out.
I hope this helps. Good luck and again please let me know if you have any questions. Ckoerner (talk) 15:26, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
Move to main space
[edit]The creator of this article no longer seems to be active contribs, the article seems ok to me, I've resolved some of the problems raised and other editors have also contributed to the article.
While there may still be some issues it's inclusion imo would be an improvement overall so I can't see a reason why this article shouldn't exist in main space.
Unless there are any objections I will move the page? – Paul · ✉ 02:14, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
