I wonder if he really was mayor of Medway rather than mayor of Rochester-upon-Medway? The Medway Council website states he was mayor of Medway, but I din't think it was known as one area then. I found several Google hits that he was mayor of Rochester, but no reliable sources. Boleyn (talk) 17:16, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
