"Serbian Jew" -- Not.

A category Bogdanovich is listed under is "Serbian Jews". This category should be for Jewish people who live or have lived in Serbia. While Bogdanovich's origin is both Serbian AND Jewish, he is NOT a Serbian Jew, i.e. his Jewish origins are not from Serbia and his origin from Serbia is not Jewish, unlike other people listed under that category, e.g. Sonja Licht, Oskar Davičo, Moša Pijade etc. -- who indeed are Serbian Jews.

At Long Last Love

Something is irking me about the mention of the film, and it's something that goes unargued on a lot of other sites. Yes, it was a flop- that can't be denied. But saying one of the reasons it failed was because the actors "were not noted for singing ability" is at least partially false. No, Burt Reynolds and Cybill Shepherd were not singing stars at the time (though Shepherd had and has a far better voice than some of the petty people who went after her gave her credit for), but Madeline Kahn and Eileen Brennan? Not noted for their singing? I kind of suspect that all those people who bought tickets for their six or seven Broadway and off-Broadway musical performances would dispute that (as would anyone who has seen Kahn's performances in "Blazing Saddles" and on numerous television concert specials).... 216.194.22.63 (talk) 10:06, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

A question: I'm wondering if Peter Bogdanovich is related to Greek actor Dimitri Bogdanos? The surmanes are extremely similar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.131.38.37 (talk) 09:02, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

No. At least if judging by that criterion. Both surnames stem from (common) slavic name Bogdan. --178.222.160.172 (talk) 12:03, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Date?

How does a 49 year old "date" a 14 year old? Isn't that good old fashioned molestation? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.50.1.52 (talk) 00:13, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

Better tell it to the English. John married Isabella of Angouleme when she was twelve. They had five children. 116.231.74.1 (talk) 02:52, 12 January 2017 (UTC)

Regarding unmade projects

I'm noticing there is an edit war going on. On the one hand, I understand certain projects may be unsourced, at the same time, I think there are certain ones that are pretty clearly described as films Bogdanovich intended to make and did not. What are we going to do here? YouCanDoBetter (talk) 03:15, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
