Blue Room
[edit]Baumann's album with Paul Haslinger and John Baxter, "Blue Room", is fairly legendary because it was released only as a promo CD by Private Music and is thus extremely rare. Worth a mention? Jerry Kindall 17:43, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
- Absolutely. From what I gather, there is a fair amount of drama surrounding the release. In fact, it has been credited with Baumann's decade-long exodus from the music industry. That aside, the Haslinger connection is definitely worth mentioning. --Cheers, Folajimi (leave a note) 17:11, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
- If you know of a reference for any of that, it would be great if you took a stab at adding it to the article. Jerry Kindall 09:37, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Error report
[edit](moved from article page)
- According to information from
http://hall-family.smugmug.com/gallery/751969#33165866 the person named Peter Baumann is NOT the person described in this article. In fact Baumann is NOT a member of Landing. -- —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.171.240.211 (talk • contribs)
Production
[edit]- The Dominatrix Sleeps Tonight (7" single 1983) incorporating almost unsurpassed 3d sound imaging and dynamic range as per similar-period Arthur Baker recordings.
Might be, but since this was only produced by him (if Discogs is to be believed) it doesn't belong in the discography section. Doesn't seem to warrant a separate section all by itself either, but anyone's naturally welcome to start a section on his role as a producer.
BTW, anyone have a cite for his identity as "Hacoon Mail" on Leda's "Welcome to Joyland" album handy? --Tropylium (talk) 13:14, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
I was just about to add this very fact, since it's now quite well known, with references to be found all over the internet, but since you Wiki people are so obsessed with proper "citations", I'll leave it to someone else. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.128.190.96 (talk) 17:33, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Full name correction?
[edit]According to Michael Berling at http://www.voices-in-the-net.de/ossiach_live.htm, "The Tangerine Dream line-up in the track list features Peter Baumann with his full name: Hans Peter Baumann." I thought this might be noteworthy, though I do not know if I have ever seen this full name of "Hans Peter Baumann" corroborated or listed anywhere else than on the Ossiach Live album.
