A few of the recent edits here have an explanation that says "Updates per request of subject" or something similar. This seems like a potential conflict of interest, which is strongly discouraged. In addition, two IP addresses, 169.237.220.185 and 168.150.11.13, the ones who have the stated explanation above, can be geolocated to Davis, California, which is where Peter Moyle teaches. The first one even has an ISP (internet service provider) listed as "University of California Davis", which I would presume means that the WiFi network where the editing took place belongs to the university. This is especially concerning, as Moyle could've asked a student or colleague to edit his page for him. GunnarBonk (talk) 19:24, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
