I liked your lead, and there is a good amount of information that you have provided. Your article does a very nice job at being neutral, and your sources are reliable. What I would suggest fixing, is some of your grammar and word choice. Specifically the beginning of your sentences.
Prof. Smith feedback:
Hi Brandon,
I think you're off to a good start with the article. You have a solid sense of the basic information about Anderson and I think that the article is generally well organized and based on reliable sources.
There are a few things I would like to see you work on for the final draft. 1) Your "See Also" links should generally refer to links that do, in fact, exist on Wikipedia. The Pacific Appeal isn't a current page on Wikipedia, so I would change that. "Philip Bell," "Colored Conventions Movement," and "African American Newspapers" would be good choices.
2) Formatting isn't a key priority for me, but your article is pretty messy and would benefit from some cleaning up. The bottom is especially messy. You can go ahead and delete the "Preliminary Bibliography" section and the duplicate references list.
3) Be sure to proofread. Capitalization is a problem, especially with "Newspaper" (remove capitalization). You also need to italicize all newspaper titles and spell "Gold Rush" as two separate words. — Preceding unsigned comment added by StaceySmithOSU (talk • contribs) 04:58, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
