His (or Flickr's) not understanding the law

[edit]

Thank you for the paragraph including "In May 2009 Souza began using Flickr as an official conduit for releasing White House photos. The photos were initially posted with a Creative Commons Attribution license which required that the original photographers be credited. Flickr later created a new license which identified them as "United States Government Work" which does not carry any copyright restrictions." 98.210.208.107 (talk) 15:53, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article says Pete is "56-57". He doesn't look a day over 56 to me :) Sarah777 (talk) 18:36, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Salary strangeness

[edit]

"Since 1995, the White House has been required to deliver a report to Congress listing the title and salary of every White House Office employee. Consistent with President Obama's commitment to transparency, this report is being publicly disclosed on our website as it is transmitted to Congress. " Souza isn't on the list. It includes both employees and detailees. Who pays him? {{U|Elvey}} (tc) 10:15, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

With Joe Biden

[edit]

The statement that Souza would be returning to the White House as Chief Photographer seems to be a misreading of the cited The Hollywood Reporter article. The article specifically states: "...Adam Schultz will be the chief official White House photographer...". [1] Psconnolly (talk) 05:24, 17 January 2021 (UTC)psconnolly[reply]
