history
[edit]A history section would be useful regarding when the term was used.
Our town's historical societies provide examples of slight changes to how it was refered to as: In 1800, a town meeting stated "the Inoculation for the small pox and building a house for that purpose". Only a few years later a 1838 history calls it a small pox hospital. But this is original research from one small place and would be need to be expanded with more citations.
