[edit]I think that seeing as this is an australian article, it should use the australian (british) spelling for JAIL (not GAOL).
- too right! changed -- Moondyne 01:40, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
- According to American and British English spelling differences (footnote), jail predominates in Australia. -- Moondyne 04:26, 4 October 2005 (UTC)
Helecopter or light plane? Bought or given?
[edit]http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=60040 states differently to us. Rich Farmbrough 18:38, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
- I must admit that my personal recollection of the news story was light plane, but a google search for "brian mickelberg helicopter" returns at least 6 credible news sources saying he died in a helicopter crash in 1986, and "brian mickelberg plane" returns a similar number, so I don't know what to do. -- Moondyne 10:12, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
I can actually confirm it was a plane, my parents later lived (not primary residence) at the property where the plane crashed. I guess this isn't really a certifiable source.... but just if you were curious. Also the crash was in Rollystone not Mundaring as it was opposite the Serpantine dam. The supposed reason for the crash was that the plane was light on fuel, even though the fuel logs showed otherwise and Brian was not informed of this either when he took the plane out from the airstrip. Anyway unless I can dig up some sources I won't add this to the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.215.157.160 (talk) 05:28, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
