Perhaps we should have a disambig to Perth, Ontario and a discussion of the naming of Perth County. Why is it called Perth County, when Perth, Ontario isn't in the county and is in fact hundreds of kilometres away? DigitalC (talk) 17:35, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Numerous links in the sources do not exist anymore, especially the Perth County website links, as they moved sites some time ago. The files mentioned are either gone or moved. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:B100:1600:162D:64B5:1E63:4242:8765 (talk) 05:33, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Format

Would it make more sense to include prose instead of having everything in a list form? Dreambeaver (talk) 21:17, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect population info

[edit]

Where did the 2011 data come from? I checked census web site and it was over 70,000 then too not under 40,000.

The citation does not lead to the Perth County page. OR is Census Canada including Stratford population? I don't know but it states over 70,000. https://www12.statcan.gc.ca/census-recensement/2016/dp-pd/prof/details/page.cfm?Lang=E&Tab=1&Geo1=CD&Code1=3531&Geo2=PR&Code2=01&Data=Count&SearchText=Perth&SearchType=Begins&SearchPR=01&B1=All&TABID=1

Also see this Perth County document; population was over 70,000 in 2012. http://perthcounty.ca/fileBin/pdf/County-Fact-Profile.pdf

And the size of the area was wrong too; it is Land area in square kilometres 2,218.52 Peter K Burian (talk) 14:29, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
