Orphaned references in Personal life of Lindsay Lohan
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Personal life of Lindsay Lohan's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 12:55, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
Inappropriate
[edit]It just somehow seems morally wrong to have an entire separate Wikipedia article on someone's personals life. Do celebrities not deserve a little privacy too? Shouldn't this at least be incorporated into her existing Wikipedia page? Does every public figure have / need a "Personal life of..." article? CarlSerafino (talk) 04:45, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
- I would tend to agree. 98.15.180.192 (talk) 07:22, 27 January 2024 (UTC)

Nomination for Deletion/Merge
[edit]I propose deleting the "Personal Life of Lindsay Lohan" page and merging its content into her main article. While the page was likely created to separate her work from her personal life, much of the content is trivial and can be better explained within the context of her main biography. This would prevent redundancy and avoid undue focus on her personal life, ensuring the article remains balanced. The information fits naturally into the main article without causing any size or weighting issues. Merging would also respect her privacy by not sensationalizing details of her personal life. This approach would maintain Wikipedia’s focus on notable information while keeping the article concise and neutral. Brkstn (talk) 02:24, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- Good idea. I will support such a merge for the reasons given. Binksternet (talk) 04:11, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- If content from this article is merged into her main article this would need to redirect there to maintain attribution rather than deletion. ~ GB fan 11:26, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
Deletion
[edit]I would second the proposed deletion, but we are (very) distantly related, so I want to avoid a Conflict of interest. Bearian (talk) 04:49, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
